Super Robot Wars Y is now available for consoles and PC!
Mechs and pilots join forces during tactical, turn-based battles in Super Robot Wars Y, now available worldwide! This grid-based tactical RPG is developed by Bandai Namco Forge Inc. and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe. This legendary franchise was first released more than 30 years ago and tells the story of mechs and pilots from popular franchises fighting to save the future. Super Robot Wars Y is the long-awaited new addition to the franchise, following Super Robot Wars 30 from 2021.
In Super Robot Wars Y, the Guardians of Steel need to rise to save the future. The acclaimed series combines an all-star mecha cast, action-packed attack animations, and an upgrade system to customize various units and pilots. The game also features a unique and engaging storyline that brings together universes from various mecha anime. In this game, you need to command an army on a grid-based battlefield and strategically use your weapons and skills to defeat the enemy.
Super Robot Wars Y also introduces the Assist Link system, which allows some of your characters to join the battle as part of the Assist Crew. Use Assist Commands to restore HP and EN or to increase a unit’s attack power, for example. Every time the Assist Crew is activated, its members earn valuable XP, enabling them to level up and unlock or improve passive skills. Super Robot Wars Y is now digitally available in multiple editions for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
