Switch launch date for The Sinking City announced
Developer Frogwares has announced today that the action-adventure horror game, The Sinking City will officially release on the 12th of September next week.
Currently, this release will be a digital-only edition for now as a physical release would’ve pushed the release back for several months. A physical edition might release later on. Two versions will be available upon release, a standard edition and a deluxe edition that will contain additional side missions. Pre-ordering the game as of today will get you access to some timed pre-order bonuses for the Nintendo Switch edition.
The Nintendo Switch edition won’t be just a standard port. The team of Frogwares has worked on multiple improvements and tweaks based on player feedback to improve the experience on this device. It will run at a stable 30 frames per second, The combat has been improved a bit, new gunshot sounds, improved recoil, and new visual effects. Tweaks on crowd behavior and pedestrian AI have come from players’ feedback. The game will also be available in multiple languages with full voiceover and text in English, French, German and Russian. Additional text support is available for another twelve languages.
