Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment have unveiled a new trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker, a dark fantasy action-RPG set for release in 2026. The trailer includes pre-beta gameplay footage following Coen, a young man who becomes a Dawnwalker—human by day and vampire by night—learning to control his new abilities. The Blood of Dawnwalker is the first chapter in Rebel Wolves’ dark fantasy saga, set in 14th-century Europe amid war and the Black Death. The story follows Coen, transformed into a Dawnwalker—a being caught between humanity and vampirism—with 30 days to save his family or seek revenge on his creator. Players will face challenging choices about sacrifice and survival.
Developed using Unreal Engine 5 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, The Blood of Dawnwalker is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. More details will be revealed on June 21 during a special livestream at 21:00 CEST on Rebel Wolves’ Twitch channel. The event will feature about 15 minutes of new gameplay and developer commentary, focusing on the game’s directional combat system that mixes swordplay, spells, and vampire powers. The livestream will also explore the game’s day-night cycle and its impact on story and gameplay, as players navigate various locations in the world of Vale Sangora.
