Team17 reveals Worms WMD and Worms 4
Today, Team17 announced 2 additions to the very successful Worms series, both of which will be revealed at Gamescom 2015. Worms WMD introduces a brand new 2D cartoon-inspired look for the worms, as well as hand drawn landscapes. Players will also be able to use new vehicles and even enter buildings, something which has never been seen before, and will add a new element of strategy to wormy warfare!
Worms WMD will be available for Xbox One and PC in 2016, although if you’re a fan of the series, you might just want to head to Gamescom to get an early sneak peek.
In addition, Team17 has also announced Worms 4 for mobile gamers. Fans will experience a new and improved design for mobile gaming, featuring smaller landscapes, smaller teams and shorter match lengths for players on the go. Furthermore, will be able to partake in turn-based synchronous online multiplayer matches (which are played out in real time), 80 single player missions, collect over one hundred weapon upgrades and duel across 5 different themes. Worms 4 will be available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in August 2015.
