Techland update: Holiday greetings, free games and more info about Dying Light 2!
Developer Techland is getting into the holiday spirit, as they’ve not only released new information about Dying Light 2: Stay Human, but also a short season’s greetings video. We’ve listed their message to the global gaming community below, alongside the new episode of Dying 2 Know More. This official series provides players with all the latest info about the upcoming game, so make sure to check out the other videos if you haven’t to get an inside view at Dying Light 2. The new video delves into the UI customizations available in the upcoming title, including the ability to freely toggle HUD elements like enemy health bars, the quest log, and experience point counters. Thanks to playtesting and feedback from hundreds of players, Techland has introduced more accessibility options than in any previous Techland game, such as text size adjustments, subtitle backgrounds, and speaker name coloration, color blindness profiles, a left-handed control profile, and a tap/hold toggle for button prompts.
In addition to these two new videos, Techland have also announced that they are giving away some of their older titles for free to celebrate their 30th anniversary. They’ve partnered with GOG and Steam for this promotion. All details about this special promotion, including more gifts and offers available soon, can be found on the special anniversary section of Techland’s player reward program, TechlandGG. Users of TechlandGG will also be able to activate special achievements that will let them claim rewards in Dying Light, as well as Dying Light 2 when the game releases. Dying Light 2 Stay Human launches on February 4, 2022, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch (Cloud Version).
