Jagex continues to be one of Brittain’s most successful video game company’s, most well known from the RuneScape franchise. Recently they have let it known that they have been acquired by The Carlyle Group, an investment company looking to bring Jagex work to the next level. With The Carlyle Group’s assets and support, Jagex will be able to continue making even more groundbreaking role-playing action. The timing is perfect too since RuneScape is celebrating its 20th birthday this year, which has come with an announcement of exclusive anniversary content and a version of the game to be launched on mobile devices.
