The cloud version of The Medium releases today for the Switch
Polish horror studio Bloober Team is happy to announce that their award-winning psychological horror game The Medium is available for the Switch via its cloud service. When it was released back in 2021 it received a very high score for both its PC and PlayStation 5 versions.
The Medium is a third-person psychological horror game that features dual-reality gameplay where players need to navigate between real and alternative worlds to solve various puzzles. The story takes place in the late 90s when Marianne, a psychic is investigating the abandoned Hotel Niwa in search of answers about her past. She has the special ability to explore both the physical world and the spiritual world simultaneously. Players will need to use this perk to solve the various dual-reality puzzles to unlock new paths and awaken memories of past events. The spirit world is a dark mirror reflection of our reality and the developers have crafted this under the inspiration of Polish dystopian surrealist Zdzislaw Beksiński with a soundtrack to match the setting by Arkadiusz Reikowski and Akira Yamaoka.
With the cloud version coming to the Switch it will allow its users to pick up the game digitally and play it anytime and anywhere.
The Medium is available for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC and starting today on Switch as the Cloud Version.
