The House of the Dead: Remake gets a limited physical edition
Microids and Forever Entertainment have lifted the veil on the Limidead Edition for their upcoming remake for The House of the Dead, which is coming to the Switch in May. This special collector’s edition of the game includes a game cartridge presented in an exclusive box with a lenticular image, two character stands, and a sticker sheet. The remake of the cult arcade shooting game from 1997 features upgraded graphics, audio, and new game modes.
In The House of the Dead, renowned biochemist and geneticist, Dr. Roy Curien is obsessed with his lifetime project of discovering the nature of life and death. When he finally succeeds, it’s time for his former colleague Sophie Richards to ask for the help of her friends at AMS; Thomas Rogan, and agent G. Their mission is simple: end the doctor’s macabre project and save all the employees of the lab. Players can take on Curien’s creations solo or with a friend and shoot hordes of undead and nightmare creatures in this fantastically gory and shameless arcade shooter!
