The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing available on Xbox One
After the recent release of the definite edition of the three stand-alone Van Helsing games, namely The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut – which we’ve reviewed here – NeoCore Games announced that the first title in the adventure RPG trilogy is now available on Xbox One for a modest price of €14,99 or its local equivalent. Xbox Live Gold members will receive the game free of charge as part of the Games with Gold program for December. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing DLCs Thaumaturge and Arcane Mechanic are also available on Xbox One for €3,99 each, adding even more content to the base game.
“We’ve been working very hard to bring The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing to the Xbox One. We are delighted to introduce our Action-RPG to a brand new audience and we hope that they are going to have as much fun with playing the game as we had creating it.”, explained Zoltán Pozsonyi, producer at NeoCore Games about their collaboration with Microsoft.
Although adapted to fit the current generation consoles and their audience in the form of a new interface and controls, the game carries the same features as the PC version: an incredible adventure with a highly detailed level-up system as well as the typical tower-defense mini game and a unique companion system where you can tailor the skills of your ghostly follower Lady Katarina. Of course the rage system is in place and you can team up with your friends in a four-player cooperative mode via the multiplayer game mode.
