The nightmare begins in Flesh Made Fear
Tainted Pact and Assemble Entertainment have been killing it in the horror genre, with the most well-received example perhaps being Suffer The Night, a game they released back in 2023. For Halloween 2025, they’ve decided to deliver a special treat, however. Flesh Made Fear is a love letter to classic horror, specifically the Resident Evil series. With two main characters to pick from, each having their own stats, abilities, and even differing storylines, discover the gruesome experiments that unfolded when a CIA agent went rogue. The creatures you fight might once have been human, but they certainly aren’t anymore. Mechanics familiar from other retro survival horror games make an appearance, such as limited saves and inventory management where you must pick and choose what items you can carry around. Flesh Made Fear is available now for PC through Steam.
