The Past Within – Soon to be released!
The asynchronous co-op puzzle adventure The Past Within is planned to be released on November 2nd, 2022 on PC (via Steam)! This game has been developed and published by Rusty Lake.
Two players must work together as they explore the bizarre and dreamlike universe of Rusty Lake in order to solve the many mysteries surrounding Albert Vanderboom. While one player navigates The Past, the other must venture forth into The Future. Observe and communicate what you see around you, solve the puzzles and help Rose set her father’s plan in motion! Are you ready to explore either The Past, or experience The Future?
The The Past Within is a co-op only game. Both players need to own a copy of the game, as well as a way to communicate with each other. This asynchronous co-op experience doesn’t need any connection between devices, as long as you can communicate (for instance via phone). Play together with a friend or find a partner on the official Discord of The Past Within! The game contains 2 chapters and has an average play-time of 2 hours.
