The retro roots of VergeWorld, from the Amiga to the PC

It was once a dream of developer Arek Kwaśny to create an Amiga game. All the way back in 2018 he started prototyping his sci-fi adventure game in Unity and later coded it into a working prototype for Amiga 1200. This demo was so impressive that the developers from Bad Bones joined the project and started to push the Amiga and Sega Genesis hardware to their limit. VergeWorld slowly evolved to a larger-scale combat racer with story elements and they decided to make a full-scale PC version to appeal to a larger crowd. The original games aren’t lost and can be downloaded for free and they even have a demo for their PC version.

VergeWorld is planned for release on PC in the fall of 2022 for PC and consoles later.
