The Trails of Cold Steel series jumps to the next console generation
The problem with long-running JRPG franchises is the fact that it’s very hard to get into them since they often have tons of entries spread across a dozen platforms. This is especially true for the Legend of Heroes series, having 20 entries spread across sub-series within sub-series. But luckily NIS America has announced that now is the best time to get into the series with the release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III / The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV, bringing the two beloved entries to PS5 in an exciting double pack.
Take on the role of Rean Schwarzer, a hero who is tasked with training the next generation of warriors to take on the rising flames of conflict. The games deliver an overarching story that is perfect for newcomers and veterans of the series, combined with classic turn-based combat. when the original releases of these two games came out, we gave them some great reviews, so be sure to check out the dynamic combo pack when it releases on February 16, 2024.
