The ultimate Layers of Fear experience arrives in June 2023
Layers of Fear reimagined the psychological horror genre for a lot of fans, with both games and their respective DLCs being praised to high heavens. Obviously, we couldn’t pass up on them either: we checked out the first game here and its sequel here. Back in September, Bloober Team already teased that an ultimate edition of the franchise would release (though back then we were told it would be called Layers of Fears; the extra s has since been dropped) and now we know exactly when that will be. Layers of Fear (2023) will come to PC and consoles in June of this year. This edition will include both games and all their DLC which were already released, with another DLC on top called ‘The Final Note‘ which should tie the entire plot together definitively. Additionally, the game has been graphically remastered to really take advantage of the latest gaming technology and be scarier than ever.
