The Witch and The Hundred Knight: Revival Edition releasing in 2016

NIS America officially announced that the Revival Edition of The Witch and The Hundred Knight is coming to North America and Europe in March 2016, exclusively on PlayStation 4 consoles.

This action RPG features updated graphics and a brand new area where the player is able to acquire powerful new loot. Additionally, for the first time ever you’ll be able to play as Metallia by entering the Tower of Illusion and collecting Concentrated Mana, allowing you to summon the witch at will. And of course, while you will not be making gold, you can upgrade your weapons using catalysts from the Tower of Illusion to increase their ATK and DEF and much more.

The narrative in The Witch and The Hundred Knight: Revival Edition is a mysterious one. The witch Metallia grew tired of spending her precious time in the borders of her swamp and decides to forge a contract with the legendary Hundred Knight. With the help of this mystical being, Metallia sees her ambition of traveling beyond the borders become a reality as her swamp now spreads throughout all of Medea.

The player can explore the world and destroy Pillars that were put in place to prevent Metallia’s swamp from expanding while wreaking havoc. However, Metallia’s mind begins to question the reasons behind her imprisonment. What had previously prevented her from leaving the swamp? Why would the other witches shun her? And most importantly, how can she survive in a swamp that is notorious for its poisonous fumes? Is she truly a witch to respect, or is she one to fear?
