Ubisoft announces XDefiant, the latest Tom Clancy game!
Today, Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s XDefiant, an upcoming new Ubisoft Original. In this free-to-play first-person shooter, quick 6v6 arena fights are combined with faction-based skills. XDefiant will launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Luna, Stadia and Ubisoft Connect for Windows PC, with full crossplay support when the game launches. Developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, and supervised by executive producer and FPS expert Mark Rubin and veteran creative director Jason Schroeder, XDefiant brings a completely new experience to the Tom Clancy franchise. Factions and characters, known as Defiants, are inspired by various Tom Clancy games and beyond. Tom Clancy’s XDefiant is set to bring an immersive experience to all players, both competitive and casual.
In Tom Clancy’s XDefiant, players are met with a lightning-fast gameplay experience that combines fluid and brutal action with unprecedented freedom and personalization. Players will be able to enjoy the foreground of the Tom Clancy universe through iconic locations, gripped by technicolor chaos, with a mix of indoor and outdoor maps, that will provide sleek gameplay and unpredictable combat.
