Valkyria Revolution – launches June 30 in Europe!
Valkyria Revolution will be released both physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 30 in Europe, and June 27 in the Americas. The game will be released as a digital-only title on the Playstation Vita. Valkyria Revolution will cost €39.99 (US $39.99), and pre-orders and limited launch copies of the physical versions in Europe will come packaged with a 12-track soundtrack by Yasunori Mitsuda.
The Vanargand, Jutland’s elite soldiers, are equipped with advanced mana weaponry and the ability to wield spells. Only they are able to defeat the Ruzi Empire and stop the Valkyria. Even the princess of Jutland, princess Ophelia, has joined the ranks of the Vanargand to defend her country and to liberate those who are suffering from the Ruzi’s tyranny. However, the commander of the Vanargand is hiding a terrible secret which could endanger their mission.
This game will be different from previous Valkyria games: Valkyria Revolution will feature a new world, new characters and new gameplay mechanics. The players will learn to respect the ancient Valkyria Brunhilde, the incarnation of death itself. The new combat system mixes real-time combat and tactical strategy, and players will be able to upgrade and customize their equipment. Additionally, Valkyria Revolution has an unique new look with a canvas texture style, and a beautiful soundtrack.
