Velocity 2X announced on Xbox One and PC

Velocity® 2X brings the dazzling excitement of FuturLab’s award-winning arcade shooter (originally independently published by FuturLab on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®Vita) to new platforms. Abducted by hostile aliens, Lt. Kai Tana must use her quick reflexes and the teleporting power of the Quarp Jet to free her fellow prisoners and find a way home. Swapping between top-down vertical shooter and side-scrolling action platformer, Velocity 2X blends two unique styles of fast-paced gameplay into one incredible experience.

High-energy Adventure – Velocity 2X is primarily a vertical arcade shooter – players pilot the Quarp Jet through dangerous territory, using its many weapons and the space-jumping teledash to rescue innocent captives in stasis. But Lt. Tana can also dock her ship at enemy stations, switching to a side-scrolling perspective to unlock new paths forward. Velocity 2X also includes thoughtful puzzle-based levels and boss battles.

Light-speed Gameplay – Fluid controls give Lt. Tana responsive handling at the highest speeds in ship and on foot. Ranked leaderboards let speedrunners compete for fastest time, highest completion percentage and highest overall score across over 50 levels, including the bonus stages from the original Velocity 2X’s Critical Urgency and Dual Core DLC, bundled here for free.

NEW! Daily Ranked Challenges – Velocity 2X features exclusive daily challenges on Xbox One and PC, complete with their own leaderboards.
Neon Future – Velocity 2X takes players to the stars with colorfully bold visual effects and a pulsing electronic soundtrack co-created by award-winning game composer Joris de Man.

First game ever was Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped, ever since then, gaming has been something that I've gravitated to. Reading's fun but not as interactive. Always up for a bout of online multiplayer. If that multiplayer is co-op. So if you are up for a friendly co-op session, hit me up. Rahenik's the name to search on PSN.
