As much as there were mixed reactions when news came that Twilight actor Robert Pattinson would take up the mantle of playing Batman next, the movie itself has gotten great reviews. The Batman does not try to rehash the origin story of Gotham’s favorite bat-themed hero as has been put to screen a dozen times before. Instead, this movie follows the already established vigilante as he tracks down a dangerous criminal leaving cryptic clues all across the city. Other important roles are being played by Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, and Jeffrey Wright (among many others). You can enjoy The Batman from the comfort of your own home from April 18 onward, when it’ll be available through iTunes, Google Play, Microsoft Xbox, Rakuten TV and Telenet.
