From 11 bit studios and Fool’s Theory, a new game takes the stage. This mystical RPG named The Thaumaturge will have its first demo available at the Game Developers Conference in San Fransisco between March 20th and March 24th, and just before that occasion also has its very first gameplay footage presented to the world. A Thaumaturge is described as a miracle worker, regarded as “able to perform miracles” by, for example, healing a cripple with their hands. The protagonist in the game seems way more supernatural than that though, as he apparently needs to deal with the other side of death’s veil, communicating with dark creatures. The Thaumaturge supposedly offers an extensive RPG with story-altering choices as well as turn-based combat. While the new trailer offers a glimpse of this, we are curious to eventually get a more extensive look at the gameplay and the mechanics.
