What I’ve Heard: Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag?
Rumours are swirling around about the next unannounced Assassin’s Creed game coming from Ubisoft. We know from an earlier investment calling that a new Assassin’s Creed title will be shipping this year, along with the fact that the game will be set in a new time period and feature a brand new protagonist.
An anonymous tipster sent Kotaku recently a scan of a supposed poster set to go up for promoting a new Assassin’s Creed game titled ‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’.
Examiner has a story up where they supposedly have information on the main character and location of the next game along with what they say is the first image of it in-game.
“The main characters name is Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway from Assassin’s Creed 3. Edward is known as a Privateer, Assassin and occasional pirate. The games location is set in the Caribbean on multiple islands including Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas.”
Whether this is all true or not we will have to wait to see, when Ubisoft unveils their upcoming game.
