What the Golf? secures a Switch release date

Triband’s physics-based golf parody game What the Golf? is set to release on the Nintendo Switch on May 21st, the studio announced today. The game looks interesting, billing itself as the only golf game for people who hate golf. With every course offering a new type of golf, What the Golf? is set to surprise players with brilliant or hilarious physics. Players step into the shoes of wacky characters such as a cross between a penguin and a hamburger or a turtle in a Viking helmet as they take on a variety of absurd physics-based golf challenges.

Although the game is already out on the App store for iOS devices and the Epic Games store for PC, the Switch version will be the first to introduce a brand new mode. The local two-player Party Mode allows friends to compete against one another in a cavalcade of courses. May 21st is still a couple of days away, but players that preorder the game right now will get a 25% discount on the regular eShop price.
