Wicked is available at home starting today!
Wicked, the Broadway classic turned silver-screen spectacle is coming to your home! The movie tells the unspoken story of the Witches of Oz. We see the two witches, Elphaba and Glinda, who are polar opposites of each other. Elphaba is misunderstood and still has to find her true power whereas Glinda is popular but still has to discover her true heart. They forge an unlikely friendship at Shiz University before each going their way after meeting the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This split then leads to them becoming, respectively, the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good, the familiar witches from the story of the Wizard of Oz.
Wicked is now available on DVD and Blu-ray with over three hours of added content, including a Sing-Along version, the source material is a musical after all. Besides a sing-along version, they also feature deleted and expanded scenes as well as a 40-minute journey through Oz which celebrates the magic of creating the movie by giving you a glimpse behind the scenes. Further expanding the bonus material you can enjoy the commentary of the director as the two main character actors.
