Wildfrost announcement
Great news for Slay the Spire and deck-building fans as developer Chucklefish has just announced their brand new title Wildfrost. In this deck-building roguelike, players will attempt to take back a world that has fallen to the Wildfrost. By building a deck of charming companions and powerful elemental items, you will need to use all your strategy and building skills to reach the Sun Temple and banish the Wildfrost once and for all.
Throughout the game, you will have the chance to recruit new companions and enhance their powers. After each run you will return to Snowdwell, the only remaining civilization, to unlock more cards, and encounter new challenges and events for endless replayability.
Key features include:
- A perfect mix of deckbuilding and adventure, Wildfrost lets you test your card battling skills as you fight to banish an eternal winter.
- Pick your ‘Leader’ from a variety of different tribes that offer randomized stats and skills.
- Utilize the ‘counter’ dynamic system to gain the upper hand against foes and frosty monsters!
- Each encounter will offer new cards and a new way to tackle each battle. The way you strategize each fight is up to you!
- Endless replayability with new daily challenges and runs.
Wildfrost is coming to PC and Switch in the Winter of 2022.
