World of Horror gets a massive update in Early Access!
All the way back in March 2020 we tried out a new horror game that proved to be quite addictive. In this Junji Ito-inspired horror game, players must stop a cult from summoning an Old God to rule the world. Today, the developer Panstaz, and publisher Ysbryd Games, unleash new content upon their game World of Horror. Key features include:
- TWO NEW MYSTERIES – Take care of a weird friend with a dark secret and explore a seemingly abandoned mansion full of grotesque paintings
- NEW MODDING – Draft custom mysteries, create characters, and chain together events and combat encounters
- NEW CHARACTERS – A WITCH and EX-CULTIST join the playable roster, now at 11 heroes
- NEW EVENTS– Character-exclusive events build on their backstories and roles in the city. This is the biggest batch of new events since the Early Access launch!
- CHALLENGES – New game mode pits experienced players against carefully designed playthroughs with devilish mechanics
- CITY PLANNING– Customize the game with additional actions
Uncover the truth across sixteen mysteries filled with random encounters and white-knuckle turn-based combat. With gameplay that is deeply customizable, and endlessly replayable, it will tailor the experience to any kind of player.
World of Horror is set to be released on Switch, PlayStation 4, Mac, and PC through Steam, Windows Store, GOG and itch io in 2022.
