WRC Generations arrives this fall
With BigBen week in full swing, publisher NACON and development studio KT Racing are pleased to unveil their new rally game, WRC Generations. This official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship will be released in the fall of 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This latest entry in the series is the result of a 7-year collaboration with legendary drivers, who previously made defining games of the genre with WRC 9 and WRC 10. This authentic and comprehensive rally racing simulation offers players the chance to race powerful cars in the most famous rallies of all time! Vehicles from previous editions are also present again, this time more realistic than ever. In total, there are no less than 37 legendary cars, each carefully recreated with their corresponding mechanical properties. In addition to the 13 rallies of the 2022 season, the game includes 9 other locations for a total of 22 different countries and 165 special stages – a record for the genre! The brand new Swedish route has also been added. During this only completely snow-covered rally, it becomes very clear how realistic the physics are this time.
WRC Generations presents players with a multitude of modes to enjoy the game: Career mode lets players determine their own history and path to success, managing every aspect of their team. The skill tree also now has a new branch that lets players manage hybrid cars. In League mode, players can compete against each other in the same category during daily and weekly challenges to reach the top of the leaderboards. The Teams system lets players choose whether to join a team or create their own, to set the bar high for each challenge. The Livery editor lets players customize their cars with different paint jobs and decals. In WRC Generations, players can now share their creations with each other! Players can participate in training races on a split screen or online, and enjoy a real-life experience with a friend in Co-driver mode. More beautiful and detailed than its predecessors, WRC Generations offers countless hours of gameplay thanks to all-new game modes and new ways to share your passion online! WRC Generations will be released on October 13, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and later for PC and Switch.
