A Story About My Uncle, A Non-Violent First-Person Platform Adventure Game
Gone North Games are currently developing their first game. A non-violent First-Person platform adventure game set to be released in the summer of this year. It will be published by Coffee Stain Studio. The game is based on a demo that was nominated for game of the year at the 2012 Swedish Game Awards.
Gone North Games was founded by 9 students. What was once a school project is now being developed into a full game. More details about the game are scarce but it certainly will be interesting to see if the game will be able to keep a player’s attention without the use of violence. Most titles these days seem to be using different forms of violence to raise interest. A Story About My Uncle seems to be a game to keep an eye on.
