Blair Witch finally arrives on PS4!
The long-awaited PS4 version of Bloober Team and Lionsgate’s Blair Witch game is out today. Earlier this year, the game was released on both PC and Xbox One but as of today, PS4 owners can also get lost in the Black Hills Forest. The story-driven psychological horror game is based on the cinematic lore of the Blair Witch films, of course. Set in 1996, a young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest. Players take on the role of Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past. Ellis is accompanied by his trusty canine companion, Bullet, as the pair joins the search for the missing boy. Soon enough they’ll discover the horrors that await as the woods twist and turn into an endless nightmare.
The first-person experience studies players’ reactions to the many dangers they encounter will change the flow of the game, resulting in a variety of playthrough outcomes. The environments of the Black Hills Forest are further enhanced by 4K gameplay support on PS4 Pro. It’s not just PS4 players that have a good reason to boot up Blair Witch today though. All versions also receive DLC in the form of the Good Boy Pack. This DLC includes new dog skins and animations for Bullet, making the dog even more realistic, as well as new content for the in-game cellphone, including games and wallpapers.
