“Horse With no Name” trailer for Darksiders III released
Gunfire Games and THQ Nordic have released a new trailer for Darksiders III, based on Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney’s version of “Horse With no Name”. By doing this, they’re hoping the memories that are already tied to many other franchises and shows (for example Breaking Bad, The Simpsons and GTA San Andreas) will now also be tied to the story of Darksiders III.
In Darksiders III, players will return to an apocalyptic planet Earth, where they will join Fury in her journey to hunt down and defeat the Seven Deadly Sins. The Charred Council calls upon her to travel from the highest heights of heavens to the deepest circle of hell in a quest to restore the balance between good and evil and prove indefinitely that she is the fiercest of the Four Horsemen.
Fury is a mage. As you progress through the game, her form will evolve, and with it, her powers and arsenal of weapons. The expansive world of Darksiders III is presented as an open-ended, vivid, free-form planet Earth, ravaged by war and destruction, and overrun by nature. Fury travels back and forth between environments fighting other-worldly creatures and figuring out puzzles as she advances through the Darksiders story.
The Darksiders III pre-order campaign is already ongoing and promises major rewards for fans who have been waiting patiently for the third instalment in the Darksiders franchise for over six years. Darksiders III will be released on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and PC on November 27th of 2018.
