Lulz Security pleads guilty for PSN hack

Four members of Lulz Security pleaded guilty today for hacking the Sony Network in april 2011. 70 million PSN and Sony Online-accounts got hacked which resulted in a three week downtime of the Playstation Network. This hack costed Sony approximately 170 million dollar and a lot of members lost their faith in Sony.

A few days after the downtime, Sony launched the “Welcome back”-campaign (which gave every member the choice to download 2 free games out of 5 top-games) to gain the faith of it’s members again.
Next month we’ll know more about the judicial verdict.
