Master Powerful Weapons to Overcome the Deadly Yokai in Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition
On December 8th, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Team Ninja revealed more information for the highly anticipated release of the popular dark fantasy action-RPG, Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition, which was announced to release on the 5th of February 2021 on Steam. The story is seen through the eyes of the players own created character, who is half-human, half-yokai, working as a mercenary in the Mino province. Eventually, losing control of their yokai powers, they discover a wandering merchant named Tokichiro who calmed the protagonist’s abilities. They become partners, eventually meeting Lord Oda Nobunaga, starting the well-known tale of “Hideyoshi”.
With the addition of the base game, the story is continued with the Complete Edition, adding all current DLC content including, the 3 DLC expansion packs, “The Tengu’s Disciple”, “Darkness In The Capital”, and “The First Samurai. Also, the 2 new DLC weapons, the Splitstaff and the Fists are made available at the start of the game, rounding off the total number of playable weapons to 16, each with their own skill trees, adding more variety and flexibility to combat.
Nioh 2 is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Pro, and PlayStation 5, with the Complete Edition soon to be available on Steam February 5th 2021.
