Meet the Sultana, Stronghold Crusader’s First Female AI
Stronghold Crusader 2, the long awaited sequel to Stronghold Crusader, has a new trick up its sleeve! The game will be released in about 3 weeks but that doesn’t stop the devs of adding more content to it. They have a big surprise for fans of the genre, they’re introducing the series’ first female AI opponent! The Sultana continues the series’ tradition of historically accurate characters with their own touch of creativity. The Sultana mainly prefers deception and intelligent use of the land over brute force. Will you be smarter than her?
For people who don’t know what Stronghold Crusader is, it’s like a simulator and RTS combined. You build your castle but at the same time you have to fence off attacks from other lords and assassins who are trying to take over the throne! In order to dominate the battlefield, you can command over 25 unique unit types, mastering each of their special abilities. Raise morale with the Sergeant, charge in with your Knight, use Archers to launch an arrow barrage or climb up enemy walls with deadly Assassins. Once you’re done getting to know the game, you can hop straight into multiplayer, which can be played with up to 8 players!
