Overwatch: Additional Map and content update!
Blizzard opened a new Assault/Escort map to the public today. It’s called the Blizzard World and it features an amusement park with elements from the universes of Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo. Players can expect areas filled with high ground, flanking routes, and environmental hazards. See some screenshots of this new map in the gallery below.
In addition to the new map, the base cosmetics collection increases with over a 100 new items – including skins, sprays, player icons, emotes, and more – for all 26 heroes. You will be able to find these extra item in the standard Loot Boxes as well as unlock them via the Hero Gallery all year long. You can have a peek at some of the new content in the trailer below!
