In Digimon Survive, main character Takuma and his friends Aoi and Minoru are hanging out on their summer camp. In search of an infamous sanctuary to discover more of the legend of Kemonogam, Takuma comes face to face with a pink monster called Koromon. The tale then quickly turns dark as monsters start attacking classmates. Takuma and Koromon, who turns into Agumon, save them all, yet realize they find themselves in a world previously unknown to mankind with no visible way back home.

There are some new characters and Digimon involved as well. Like told, Aoi Shibuya and Minoru Hyuga are Takuma’s friends. Aoi is silent, class elder and therefore reliable as well as reasonable. Minoru is the class-clown. He is always optimistic, but also a bit naive which might cause him trouble.

More Digimon that are announced are Labromon and Falcomon. Labromon is a beast-type and looks like a dog. Her personality has a lot of matching points with Aoi as Labromon is often straight-forward and to the point. Falcomon is a bird-type with a strong character which, as you probably guessed by now, matches with Minoru. He protects Minoru and helps him, though he can be a bit clumsy himself as well.
