The Inner Sea is an open world video game with various RPG elements developed by an international team with plenty of experience to boot. It all started with a mission to find treasures and adventures along the seven seas in the XVII century. Out of nowhere, your ship gets hit with a dangerous storm. Battling the violent winds and monstrous waves for days, you and your crew find yourself in the midst of it all – the eye of the storm. Your ship is heavily damaged and your crew is wounded and demoralized but the calmness of the center gives them a sliver of hope.
From here on you’ll need to build your fleet which starts as one single damaged ship and actively engage in naval battles with castaways, island born inhabitants and creatures from the deep dark sea. You can also pillage and raid throughout the archipelago but this choice is entirely yours to make.

- Explore a randomly generated archipelago, in each play-through a new archipelago to explore, filled with countless islands populated by century’s worth of castaways from numerous cultures.
- Engage in tactical combat, set your ship’s route and pause the action whenever required.
- Customize your fleet, capture ships from different cultures and add them to your fleet, upgrade your older ones, make them stronger and more fearsome in order to face the dangers of the Inner Sea.
- Recruit and develop your crew, your crew gains experience with every battle fought and every mission accomplished, develop them into the most fearsome crew that has ever braved the Inner Sea.
- Battle the denizens of the deep, beneath the waves of the Inner Sea lurk monstrous creatures eager to hunt you down and make of your crew their next meal.
