The FINAL FANTASY XIV: Endwalker Official Benchmark allows you to test your PCs capabilities
In the run-up of Square Enix releasing the long-awaited fourth expansion to FINAL FANTASY XIV: Online – titled Endwalker – on November 23, the studio has released a special Benchmark software. This software allows you to run a limited version of the expansion on your PC, after which it will rate your computer’s performance. This software includes multiple maps as well as a character creator for the new Viera race (with only male player characters available for now). Any characters made in the Benchmark can be saved to later be carried over to the game proper once the expansion officially releases. In conjunction with this release, they announced a bunch of extra content players can look forward to in preparation for November. We’ll give you a line-up of the most important stuff.
Summer
- Make it Rain Campaign, running from July 19 until August 11. Completing special missions will award you the “Vexed” emote or Manderville Gold Saucer Points.
- Patch 5.58 drops on July 20 and will be the start of season 20 of The Feast, among other things.
- Summer event Moonfire Faire will temporarily return on August 13.
- Special event The Rising starts on August 27.
Fall
- Noctis Lucis Caelum returns to FINAL FANTASTY XIV on September 13 for a temporary event.
- Moogle Treasure Trove starts on October 19.
- Endwalker releases on November 23!
