The Settlers will return in 2019
The Settlers, the legendary build-up strategy games series is finding its way back to you in the Fall of 2019 to Windows PC. The 25th birthday of the series is celebrated with The Settlers History Collection, which is available from November 15th 2018 exclusively through Uplay and the Ubisoft Store. The Settles History Collection includes all the History Editions from the previous seven Settlers games. The first title, The Settlers 1 History Edition, is available now through Uplay.
The Settlers, developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte, is a build-up strategy game where players settle, explore and conquer new islands in a medieval fantasy world. The Settlers are forces to leave their birthplace after a destructive catastrophe caused by a mysterious source and set sail into the unknown, hoping to find a new home. Not only will they face countless new challenges, they are also part of an old mystery that will change their lives forever.
The Settlers combines the popular gameplay from the series with new functions and advances techniques. Gameplay elements are renewed and new functions are added such as a new food-system, the multi-worker job-system and alternative winners methods. The Settlers uses a Snowdrop-engine and manages to keep an amazing, modern visual experience.
As a little extra, a community platform called The Settlers Alliance is now live. New faces and familiar players are welcome to receive updates and be in direct contact with the Ubisoft Blue Byte developers team.
