Ten years of YOOZOO Games – their strategy
You couldn’t pass it without noticing. The big exhibition on Gamescom of YOOZOO Games was rather impressive. The game developer and distributor, known from League of Angels and Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming, showed in Germany what they got for the upcoming year to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
At the stand, YOOZOO Games presented the hyped mobile title Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac. The mobile game received a dozen recommendations in Asia and will make its highly anticipated presence on the western market soon. In this classic turn-based combat game, players will join forces with Saint Seiya and face off against hordes of evil monsters in high definition graphics for mobile standards. Since YOOZOO Games commenced its global publishing in 2013. With decent progress, it became very quickly a core part of their company and strategy.
Saint Seiya won’t be the last example of overseas publishing. With the attainment of the German company Bigpoint Games, YOOZOO Games has a better position to reach the Western market. In return, Bigpoint Games receives a stable position within its market.
Besides their plans for distributing to the West, YOOZOO Games was involved with a charity initiative. Using media YOOZOO Games challenge gamers to tweet photos with #GTarcadeHungerHeroes to support their team in the Hunger Heroes Gaming Marathon. YOOZOO Games donated a total of 21 711,25 dollars to the World Food Programme for their first year. The publisher announced that next year will hopefully be bigger and better.
