Celebrate Transformers’ 40th Anniversary with an exclusive crowdfunding project!
This year, Hasbro’s legendary Transformers toyline celebrates its 40th Anniversary. To celebrate, Hasbro has unveiled a brand-new project, on Haslab, their proprietary crowd-funding platform. The original stylings of Transformers: Robots in Disguise Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus are back for the first time since 2001, updated with improved articulation and structural stability for more dynamic figure poses. These amazing figures can be combined to form Omega Prime!
Optimus Prime – a legend who needs no introduction. What better way to kick off our 40th celebration than with a Cybertronian who embodies all of Transformers? In 2001, Transformers: Robots in Disguise reintroduced our heroic leader with a firetruck alt mode. This rendition of Optimus Prime refreshes this unique alt mode with deco based off the animation and includes classic features from the original toy.
Though Ultra Magnus has a jealous streak, it cannot be denied that he is one of the greatest Autobot solders in history. And when partnered with his weaponizer, Autobot Bluebolts, his firepower is unmatched. Hasbro Pulse incorporated all of the classic play patterns of the original toy that fans love, with some updates to the overall structure for more posing stability.
Power-hungry and greedy, Ultra Magnus forced Optimus Prime into a combined state: Omega Prime was created. The classic combination is still the star feature, with improved structural support and a sleek design to be able to withstand the awesome action poses of a hefty combiner.
Hasbro Pulse Europe is offering fans in Europe the opportunity to back the Transformers: Legacy Robots in Disguise 2001 Omega Prime crowdfunded project for €289.99 including VAT, with free delivery for Pulse Premium Members or €10 delivery fee for Non-Pulse Premium Members. The project started funding 30th January 2024 at 4.00 PM CET and we will run until 15th March 2024. 10.000 backers are needed to bring this project to life, but as more and more backers sign up, additional stretch goals will be added.
