Free-to-play Pokémon Shuffle will be available in February 2015
The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo have announced a new Pokémon game for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS called Pokémon Shuffle. Oh and did we mention that it is Free-to-play?
In Pokémon Shuffle the players must engage their puzzle making abilities in their fights with wild Pokémon. In-game the players will have to make matches of the same three or more Pokémon to defeat the wild Pokémon and finish the stage. Players have a limited amount of moves they can make per battle, so you must deal as much damage as possible within that limit. Players start the game with five hearts and use up one each time they start a battle. If you run out of hearts, you’ll need to wait for your hearts to refill. If you don’t want to wait for your hearts to refill than you can use items that you have either won in battle or you have bought in the Nintendo eShop.
Just like in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, some Pokémon are able to mega-evolve. Mega-evolved Pokémon are able to remove several wild Pokémon at once from the puzzle zone.
The Pokémon Company International has also revealed a new Pokémon called Hoopa, this Pokémon can be discovered in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. But as Hoopa is an extremely rare Mythic Pokémon, it cannot be found the conventional way. Hoopa is a Psychic-Ghost type Pokémon who can be recognized by its golden rings which cover its body and horns.
