Firefly Online
I’m a fan of Firefly it’s not something that will be shocking considering how beloved the television show is but I still believe the show has never gotten its due. Even after the big budget movie Serenity failed to convince Fox to bring back Firefly on tv, it’s still one of my favourite shows that I’ve ever seen.
So I would be ecstatic for a videogame to tap into that universe and I’m sure that there are many people who feel the same way. That being said I don’t think that Firefly Online is the way to do it, a Firefly MMO would probably be a fine game for fans to get into the universe again and to tell more stories in there.
Unfortunately an iOS and Android based MMO isn’t it, that doesn’t scream exciting for me. Maybe it will be great, but I barely want to play mobile games as it is, and the thought of an MMO being on a handheld phone or tablet is the last way I would ever want to play one.
Firefly Online (FFO) is a multi-user, social online role-playing game that will initially be available for smartphones and tablets, including those based on iOS and Android operating systems.
