Bubble Tails swims onto mobile platforms
Independent developer Jim Chae, aka PaceDream, has announced the release of Bubble Tails for mobile devices. The game is a multiplayer mobile action title focused on dynamic positioning, resource management, and fast-paced arena combat. Bubble Tails challenges players to navigate vibrant arenas using free 360-degree movement to collect growing cells. The game’s unique hook is a mechanic where collected cells form a visible tail that acts as both a health bar and a strategic currency. Players must continually balance growth with aggressive utility, choosing between hoarding cells to increase size or spending them to launch offensive maneuvers and execute tactical boosts.
Combat relies on quick reactions and mechanical precision, featuring primary controls for standard attacks, speed boosts, and a specialized Tail Sling mechanic. Strategic depth centers on precise targeting: striking an opponent’s trailing tail severs their gathered resources, whereas landing a direct hit to the head instantly eliminates them from the match. Bubble Tails is now available on both iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play. More info can be found on the official website.
