A new area is coming to surreal horror game Dreamcore: Liminal Hotel
Since it came out earlier this year, Dreamcore has been set on adding new levels for players to enjoy. In addition to the echoing empty pools and the maze-like suburbia we could explore upon release, the endless playrooms that resembled an underground playground were added not much later. And now a new expansion is dropping. Liminal Hotel tries to invoke the creepy vibes of an abandoned hotel as seen in The Shining. Winding hallways, rooms, and staircases greet you as you wander around in this surreal body-cam psychological horror game. Don’t expect jumpscares or chase sequences. Instead, the unnerving atmosphere of the game is fully crafted through sound design, graphics, and the tension inherent to liminal spaces. The Liminal Hotel level is coming on November 14th, and marks the second-to-last level to be added. To reflect the fact that you’ll now have double the number of places to explore, the price of the game will also rise from $11.99 to $14.99 on that date. So if you’re interested, we definitely recommend checking Dreamcore out sooner rather than later.
