Albert Dupontel releases comedy-drama movie Adieu Les Cons
Adieu Les Cons (known in English as Bye Bye Morons) is Albert Dupontel’s latest work. This story revolves around Suze Trappet, a woman in her early forties who suddenly has to deal with the fact that she is terminally ill. She decides that before she dies, she has to find the child she gave up for adoption when she was a teenager. Along the way she meets monsieur Cuchas, an older man dealing with a burn-out, and a blind archivist named Blin. The three set out on a search that is both uplifting and heartwrenching, in that way only Dupontel’s movies can be. This one in particular won seven Césars, including the one for best movie. Currently, it’s viewable in Frech theatres but from August 27 onwards it will also be available on DVD for anybody at home to check out.
