All the news from Quakecon 2025
Quakecon 2025 took place in Texas recently, and that means we got a fresh batch of news from the gaming front. The most notable of which might be the release of a new title, Heretic + Hexen. This collection includes all the Heretic and Hexen games, a series of spell-casting shooters, with reworked soundtrack, local split-screen, and online cross-platform. Another exciting drop is the DOOM: The Dark Ages Update 2, a big content update for DOOM: The Dark Ages with bugfixes and new free content, inlcuding an arena-mode. This mode is fully customizable, allowing you to alter the wave size and frequency. If you play now, you even have the chance of unlocking a special Quakecon inspired skin.
Last but not least, for DOOM Eternal, community mods dropped. With the idStudio-tools, PC players can make their own mods for the game, which can lead to some hilarious results.
