APICO let’s you explore the sea with a big new update
APICO is already a big game with a ton of content, but today a whole lot of content will be added to the PC version with Update 3.0: What Lies Beneath. Explore new locations, encounter new species of bees, and experience your lifelong dream: fishing with your dad.
In APICO you take on the role of a beekeeper that enjoys nothing more than taking care of his buzzing friends. Explore a multitude of biomes, each filled with a ton of unique bees that you’ll help grow by playing a bunch of mini-games. Craft new structures and cross-breed your insects to unlock new kinds and give them beautiful homes. But you won’t only play around with your bees, you can also plant some flowers or craft with their honey to make some money. Uncover the secrets of the APICO Islands alone or with up to three friends.
Now this game is getting a lot bigger with Update 3.0: What Lies Beneath. Travel to the depths of the sea to explore new areas filled with flora and fauna. Of course, you’ll encounter a bunch of new bee species here that you can breed and give homes. Help out these new buzzing buddies by completing quests and restoring the damaged coral reef. These bees aren’t the only new visitors, your dad is also coming to the island to add a new fishing mechanic. Along with these gameplay additions are also a handful of quality-of-life improvements. This update is out today for PC, console gamers will have to wait a bit longer since the developers haven’t shared yet when it will be coming to the other versions of the game.
