Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon release date announced
FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Europe are happy to announce the release date for the newest game in the Armored Core franchise. Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon combines 25 years of development experience from the Armored Core franchise and action titles from the Elden Ring and Dark Souls franchises. Fight your way through each conflict in highly mobile mech-suits that are very customizable and have an extensive range of both offensive and defensive countermeasures.
The story takes place on a desolate planet Rubicon 3 where half a century ago a mysterious resource named Coral was found. This newfound energy source should have improved the life of humanity but this wasn’t the case. Coral proved to be very unstable and flooded the planet and nearby stars with storms and flames. Now Coral is back again at Rubicon 3 and various groups and companies fight to control this mysterious resource. Players will find themselves infiltrating Rubicon 3 as a mercenary and get dropped right in the middle of the conflict.
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC on August 25th, 2023.
