Assassin’s Creed Identity announced

Ubisoft has revealed yet another installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Instead of creating even more titles for the current generation of consoles or even the every mighty PC, Ubisoft has developed an action RPG exclusively for iPads and iPhones. The game is set to release in a few weeks, namely on the 25th of February.

Assassin’s Creed Identity allows fans of the genre to fully immerse into the wondrous worlds the franchise has to offer. The game is set during the Italian Renaissance, an era favored by the fans featuring iconic decors such as the Santa Croce in Florence or the Colosseum in Rome, and challenges players to solve the mystery via a series of quests and missions. The game offers four classes which the player will level up starting as a simple Assassin until they’ve become a Master Assassin.

The Berserker class allows more direct combat while the Shadow Blade is directed for more stealth-oriented gameplay. The Trickster is, as the name already suggests, a jack-of-all trades and a great contract to the Thief which is known for its agile and quick movements, stealing and cunning traps.

Assassin’s Creed Identity brings the nostalgia of parkour and freerunning to iOS via the usage of several control combinations such as tap-to-move, dual stick and gamepad for a price of 4,99 Euro or its local equivalent, and will be available on the App Store as of 25 February.
