Assassin’s Creed Syndicate books and collectibles revealed
With the coming of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the newest addition to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, books and collectibles cannot be left out. Today Ubisoft announced the new line of products regarding the new iteration.
The Art of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is the official art book by Paul Davies and will be available as of 27 October 2015. This hardcover art book of 192 pages breathes new life into London thanks to the depth and attention to details. The art book contains hundreds of never seen before concept arts, including sketches, paintings, 3D-renders and texture studies. Aside from a regular edition, there will also be a special “slipcase” edition with exclusive Assassin’s Creed Syndicate concept art signed by the artists. You may want to be fast if you want an exclusive copy however as there will only be 500 copies.
Assassin’s Creed Underworld is the eight roman, written by Oliver Bowden. Much like the other novels, the story is set in the Assassin’s Creed universe. A European release will be announced soon.
Aside from art books and novels, there will be some new collectibles available. Two of Jacob’s iconic weapons will be available in October 2015. The first one being a lifelike replica of the legendary Assassin gauntlet with hidden blade, rope launcher and dart gun. The second one being a realistic replica of the cane sword, the newest weapon of the Assassins which entails a detailed sword with retractable knife.
Finally, UbiCollectibles announces two detailed Assassin’s Creed figures, which will also be available as of October 2015. The figurine of Jacob Frye will show the rebellion brother in an intimidating pose in the midst of the streets of London, armed with the gauntlet and cane sword. The figurine of Evie Frye depicts the brave sister of Jacob Frye. Each figure will come with a special lithograph. Combined, the two statues represent “The Wise and Wild Twins” diorama. The two collectible statues are limited as always and can be pre-ordered via the Uplay Store.
