Atlas Wept reveals its release date for next month
Indie developer Kbojisoft is proud to announce a release date for their upcoming retro-inspired RPG, Atlas Wept. This game sees you take on the role of two groups of youngsters who want to save their world. Play as either Dezi or Charlie and uncover the truth about a personality-altering force that has hit their planet. Along with this threat comes a mysterious robot dog called Gigi who will accompany them on their journey. This adventure will take the two groups through a myriad of locations, from snow-capped mountains to massive garbage dumps, through a collection of 12 story-driven chapters. Come along on this journey of adventure and self-discovery.
Atlas Wept is greatly inspired by others of its genre, like Mother and Undertale. The game melds classic turn-based combat with action-inspired minigames. Take direct control of your characters to dodge a rain of attacks, memorizing enemy bullet hell-style enemy patterns. Strike back with enough damage to stun opponents and deal massive amounts of damage. Improve your characters with a fun stamp book mechanic that will alter your stats and customize the party’s abilities. Be sure to check out Atlas Wept on PC when it releases on January 17, 2024.
